4500 F QuickSeal Epoxy Paste

4500 F QuickSeal Epoxy Paste is a fast-curing, 100% solids, high-modulus, non-sag, non-shrink two-component epoxy adhesive designed to bond to concrete and various other surfaces.

This product meets or exceeds ASTM C 881 requirements (Types I, II, IV, & V, Grade 3, Class B & C). For professional use only.

Installation Guidelines

For Bulk Applications – Sealing Cracks for Injection Grouting:
Apply mixed material over cracks to be pressure injected and around each injection port. Allow adequate cure time before beginning injection. Always test a mixed batch to ensure proper hardening.

As a Bonding Adhesive:
Apply mixed epoxy paste to prepared substrates and work into the surface for strong adhesion. Secure bonded parts firmly in place until fully cured.

Surface Preparation

• Concrete: Clean, dry, and sound. Remove dust, grease, waxes, and loose materials. Use sandblasting or other approved mechanical methods.

• Steel: Sandblast to a white metal finish.

Bulk Mixing Instructions

• Pre-mix each component separately.

• Mix 1 part A (resin) with 1 part B (hardener) for 3 minutes using a Jiffy Mixer at slow speed (under 850 rpm) to prevent air entrapment.

• Only mix quantities that can be used within the pot life.

• Do not allow mixed epoxy to remain in the static mixer for more than 2 minutes to prevent nozzle blockage.

• Do not thin with solvents.

Additional Notes

• Minimum surface and ambient temperature: 45°F (7°C)

• For applications above 120°F (49°C), consult a technician.

• Material will soften at very high temperatures.

• Do not store below 40°F (5°C).
