1510 Water-Activated Polyurethane Stop Foam (Used with Accelerator)

This hydrophobic, water-activated grout is a 100% solids, solvent-free polyurethane injection resin designed to stop active water leaks and stabilize structural elements. When mixed with accelerator, the material reacts upon contact with water to form an expanding foam that effectively seals cracks, voids, and joints—even under high water pressure.

• Water-activated (hydroactive) MDI-based polyurethane

• Expands 30–40× in volume upon contact with water

• Gel time and foam density are adjustable when mixed with the included accelerator

• Closed-cell, non-shrinking foam for long-term sealing

• Phthalate-free formulation available

• NSF/ANSI 61 approved for drinking water applications

Applications:

• Sealing water leaks and active infiltration

• Hairline crack injection in concrete or masonry

• Filling voids, honeycombing, and structural gaps

• Soil stabilization (requires lower accelerator ratio)

• Use in basements, tunnels, foundations, and other below-grade environments

Performance Notes:

• Foam characteristics depend on accelerator ratio and injection pressure

• Produces a semi-rigid or semi-flexible foam with consistent cured volume

• Unaffected by wet/dry cycling—does not shrink or swell after curing

• Low viscosity for excellent penetration in fine cracks

• Requires moisture at injection point to activate reaction
