Mapeflex EMC-1 is a white, premium-grade, water-based elastomeric patching material that can be easily
used for brush application to fill and seal cracks and/or static joints in masonry and stucco surfaces. Mapeflex
EMC-1 is highly flexible, offers excellent filling and adhesion on prepared substrates, and is designed for
compatibility with MAPEI’s Elastocolor coating systems.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
▪ Will expand and contract with changes in temperature and movement within the substrate
▪ Provides a permanent waterproof seal over cracks, joints and around wall penetrations
▪ Suitable for use on all cementitious substrates and a variety of other building materials
▪ No migration of plasticizers or oils that can inhibit adhesion or performance of finish coatings
